My beautiful dog Shadow,10 years old, a golden retreiver, is fighting cancer, had a rattlesnake bite, and has his front elbow bone completely exposed, although I cover it with a gauge and scarf. His cancer is in remission and He is so positive and does not feel there is much wrong with him, although he hobbles when he walks and can no longer walk the stairs. He still wants to play ball, eats, drinks, eliminates. We love each other so much, we just don;t know when the right time to let go is.
